Sites I Have Built

An effective online marketing campaign always goes beyond the web site, but an attractive, useful and usable web site is usually an essential component. And it’s about more than a pretty interface. It’s about helping customers find the information they need to do business with you.

Some of the organizations I’ve worked with.

Messaging News1. Messaging News: The definitive resource for business email and messaging technology. Their old static site was hard to maintain and didn’t represent the quality of their work. The new interactive Drupal-based site, and some redesigned and refocused email campaigns and other web 2.0 initiatives—all built by us—doubled their traffic in the first month, and has shown sustained growth ever since.

The Yard Crew Landscaping1. Yard Crew Landscaping: An Oak Park landscaper. His site has grown his business more than 30% since launch and led to major contracts over the winter.

VoiceCon Amsterdam2. VoiceCon Amsterdam: VoiceCon is the leading enterprise communications conference in the United States, but had its first event in the fall of 2008. The site and the videos created for it helped insure its successful international launch.

VoiceCon San Francisco3. VoiceCon San Francisco: Over its 16 years, VoiceCon has grown into the leading conference for enterprise communications professionals, with two events per year. I helmed its site for 10 of those 16 years.

Charlie Henss, CopyWriter4. N. Charles Henss, CopyWriter: Charlie needed a site for his freelance copywriting business. It integrates PDFs or print campaigns he worked on and audio of radio spots. He has recently taken over site maintenance himself.

BCR Training5.BCR Training: BCR Training was a leader in training for IT and voice an data communications technologies. This site integrated a training calendar and workd with an online registration system.

No Jitter6. No Jitter: Communications professionals turn to this Techweb news site edited by Eric Krapf. Enhancements to the base Techweb platform made this site increased readership and revenues.

Enterprise 2.07. Enterprise 2.0: The future of business and the web. How collaboration, social networking and Web 2.0 technologies can transform how we work.
